Biography Composed of friends John, Joco and Enzo, Atanus started back in 2002 as a blink-182 cover band. The band played for a year, piling up 4 original songs in the process, thus the EP "I Hate Your Father." The CD sold by the band in their shows had its share of success, making the band 2-time semi-finalists in a yearly nationwide battle of the bands here in the Philippines and earning them a slot in NU 107's Summer Shebang in 2004. Schooling kept Atanus from playing shows extensively in 2005-2007, but has gone stronger since with the addition of long-time friend Brian as additional guitarist. Now, Atanus is practicing their craft creating heavier riff-oriented songs distancing themselves from the straight-up punk rock of their previous EP.
